Neoen to build wind farm in Sweden

French renewable energy company Neoen has announced that it is building a wind farm in Sweden. According to the company’s statement, the project “will comprise ten Nordex N163 turbines with unit power of between 5.5 and 5.9 MW, for a total capacity of 57.4 MW”. The company expects that the project will be commissioned in late 2023. Xavier Barbaro, Neoen’s chairman and CEO, commented “our Swedish team and our project portfolio are expanding rapidly, and we are proud to be taking an active role in Sweden’s energy transition. The availability of competitive, local and reliable renewable energy is our core expertise, and we will dedicate this know-how to Sweden and its energy sovereignty”.
