PLSA: 74% of pension schemes will have net-zero plans in place within two years

According to a survey by the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA), 74% of pension schemes have net-zero plans in place or will do so within the next two years. The survey also found that a significant number of schemes (63%) have begun work on a Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) report, and over half of them are on course to publish a TCFD report this year. Climate change has also emerged as a core engagement goal, with 68% of surveyed schemes reporting that they see climate transition plans as a critical component of their engagement with companies.
