Solar and wind technologies are inextricably linked with the natural world, both in the power that they harness from natural processes, such as the sun’s irradiation, but also the land they occupy for multiple decades. As custodians of this land, through the development of solar and wind farm, we are afforded a unique opportunity to develop a full picture of a site’s ecological health and, where appropriate, identify routes for development and improvement.
