NatWest Cushon has strengthened its investment capabilities with three senior appointments. The DC provider has named Rahil Ram as head of investment strategy, Kinna Patel as head of investment proposition, and Martin Logan as responsible investment manager.
Ram joins from Fulcrum Asset Management, where he led the climate investing division and was a director in the absolute return team. He brings experience in portfolio management, risk and construction, and previously worked as a multi-asset strategist at Legal & General Investment Management. A qualified actuary, Ram will work closely with NatWest Cushon’s trustees to refine its investment strategy and enhance outcomes for members.
Logan, who joins from Coutts, which is also part of the NatWest Group, will focus on responsible investment and support the firm’s evolving private markets strategy. His prior experience includes a role at Nationwide’s defined benefit scheme, where he developed ESG strategies and managed a portfolio of more than 60 private investments.
Patel arrives from Legal & General Investment Management, where she was DC investment director. She previously worked at Hymans Robertson as an investment consultant. In her new role, she will lead external investment engagement with stakeholders. Speaking about her appointment, Patel said NatWest Cushon's investment approach stood out for its focus on innovation and climate integration.
