Research group compiles CCS technology compendium
The CCS Institute, a non-profit research group, has published a report that tracks the current state of technological progress within the carbon capture and storage (CCS) industry. The report builds on the knowledge that demand for CCS solutions has risen significantly and is expected to rise as net-zero deadlines approach. According to the report: "This inaugural technology compendium is intended to showcase the breadth and depth of commercially available CCS technologies worldwide. Contributions to this compendium have come from some of the world’s most prominent technology providers, as well as promising emerging firms.” CCS is a critical part of the net-zero puzzle that relies on scalable innovation and remains a relatively nascent technology.
