DC Forum 2025 in pictures
Investors representing some of the UK's largest DC pension providers gathered at the historic Stationer's Hall in London to discuss new approaches to tackling climate change
How can defined contribution investors move beyond 2030 targets and tackle hard to abate sectors? How is the thinking around index investing and net zero evolving? What are the opportunities in green venture capital@ Are DC asset owners engaging with their managers about the challenges facing the Net Zero Asset Manager Alliance?
Those were some of the key themes at Net Zero Investor's third DC Forum held at the Stationer's Hall a stone's throw away from London's St Paul's Cathedral.
The UK's DC market has experienced a sharp growth since the introduction of automatic enrolment. Assets now stand at more than £158bn and the market is on track to grow by 8% per annum. DC master trusts alone are expected to hit more than £460bn by 2029 and thus could become a key player in the UK's transition to net zero.
