As natural capital investing continues to mature, investors are placing more emphasis on Impact integrity and actual measurable outcomes. That is why regenerative agriculture is emerging as an increasingly relevant area of focus within institutional natural capital investing.
Natural capital began as a broad and fast-growing investment theme, but it is now becoming a more disciplined area of portfolio allocation and that shift is relevant.
Investors are no longer satisfied with strategies that simply sit under a natural capital label, they seek to understand if a strategy can deliver genuine outcomes across soil, water, biodiversity and climate, and whether those outcomes are embedded in the way the underlying assets are managed. The focus has shifted from concept to credibility, from process to outcomes, and from language to evidence.
