Britain’s historic pension reforms: a new dawn for DC climate investing?
The Mansion House Accord and the Pensions Bill have implications for climate solutions investing

The Pensions Schemes Bill – with redrawn fiduciary norms – is making its way through Parliament. An inaugural performance test is on the horizon and the Mansion House Accord is voluntarily targeting more pensions exposure to private markets at home.
Simultaneously, schemes have deepened climate-driven investing – expanding renewable energy holdings, signing climate-aware equity mandates and sharpening their climate models.
Reeves’ overhaul seems largely aligned with these efforts with implications hidden in the fine print.
